How can I book a stay?

Is a deposit required for booking?

  • Yes, to guarantee your reservation, an initial payment is required. Depending on the date of your stay, it is considered a prepayment or a deposit. The remaining balance is payable on arrival. For exact terms, please ask when booking.

What forms of payment are accepted?

  • We primarily accept bank transfers, card payments, or BLIK to phone.

Can the entire guesthouse be rented exclusively?

  • Yes. We accept group bookings for the whole guesthouse with 8 rooms (for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 persons) with a total capacity of up to 27 guests. If the guesthouse does not offer sufficient space, it is possible to additionally book 1–4 Mountain Cottages or 1–2 Old Mill Houses.

Is it possible to organize a wedding or reception at the property?

  • Yes, it is possible. We have successfully hosted several weddings and receptions. Please contact us directly for details.

Accommodation

Can I check in earlier?

  • We release cottages and rooms as early as possible. Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM, but rooms and cottages are often ready earlier. If not, you may leave your car and wait until your accommodation is prepared.

What accommodation options are available?

  • Guests can choose from guesthouse rooms (for 2–5 persons), comfortable Mountain Cottages (up to 9 persons, with private kitchen and bathroom), and the Old Mill House (up to 10 persons). For maximum comfort, we recommend fewer guests per cottage.

Are extra beds or baby cots available?

  • Yes, some rooms offer extra beds (standard size 90x200). Baby cots, WC seat adapters, baby bathtubs, and step stools are available upon request. Please inform us in advance when booking.

Is internet available in rooms and cottages?

  • Yes, all rooms and cottages have free high-speed fiber-optic WiFi.

Are towels and bed linen provided?

  • Yes, both cottages and rooms are prepared in hotel standard, with towels, bed linen, and pool towels included.

What is the standard equipment in the rooms?

  • Each room includes: bathroom (towels, hairdryer), Smart LED TV with active Netflix app, mini fridge, kettle with tea, bed linen, pool towels, and toiletries.

What is the standard equipment in the cottages?

  • Cottages include a bathroom with large shower, hairdryer, towels, bed linen, drying rack, deck chairs, and fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher tablets, dish soap, liquid soap, stove, pots, plates, glasses, cups, espresso machine with portafilter, Turkish coffee pot, drip coffee maker, juicer, microwave, fridge, dishwasher). Also: Smart LED TV with active Netflix (YouTube and other apps), fireplace in the living room, private garden with terrace, outdoor furniture, and stone grill. Additionally, vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies are available.

Are the cottages heated?

  • Yes, each cottage is heated with individually adjustable electronic thermostats in every room.

Are there facilities for disabled guests?

  • The guesthouse has stairs and is not fully barrier-free. However, the ground-floor apartment (up to 5 persons, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) is accessible. The cottages are also suitable for disabled guests, with only minor thresholds.

Facilities and Attractions

What facilities does the guesthouse offer?

  • Seasonal swimming pool, hot tub (on request, extra charge), sauna with stream view, large BBQ shelter with fireplace, volleyball court, spacious green areas, hammocks, and sun loungers. The guesthouse also features a winter and summer terrace, a fireplace lounge, children’s playroom, and dining room.

What is the cost of the hot tub and sauna?

  • Hot tub: 250 PLN, Sauna: 100 PLN – regardless of group size or duration. Due to the heating process (3 tons of water to 38–40°C), advance booking is required.

Is grilling allowed on site?

  • Yes, each cottage has its own grill, and there is also a communal BBQ shelter with a fireplace.

Are breakfasts included in the price?

  • Breakfast is optional, served buffet-style in the guesthouse. Timing is arranged according to guest preferences.

Can breakfasts be delivered to cottages?

  • Yes, breakfast can be delivered to the cottages for an additional fee, served in a wicker basket.

Can I bring my pet?

  • Pets are welcome in the Mountain Cottages and Old Mill House, with no extra fee. In the guesthouse, pets up to 12 kg are allowed, unless you book the whole building exclusively (then no restrictions).

Are coffee-making facilities available in cottages?

  • Yes, three options: espresso machine with portafilter, drip coffee maker, and Turkish coffee pot (all require ground coffee).

Can a bonfire be arranged?

  • Yes, simply inform the staff. Firewood is provided free of charge.

Is the swimming pool free of charge?

  • Yes, use of the pool is free for all guests.

Location and Access

Where is BORSZÓWKA located?

  • The property is located in Biała Dolina – the most beautiful part of Szklarska Poręba, 2.1 km from the town center. Hiking trails and ski lifts are nearby.

Is parking available for guests?

  • Yes, we offer a large free parking lot.

How far is the property from main attractions?

  • About 5 minutes by car to the town center. Hiking trails, bike routes, and ski lifts are nearby.

Do I need snow chains in winter?

  • Access roads are asphalt and regularly cleared. Chains are usually not required, but in winter it is always advisable to carry them.

Families with Children

Is the guesthouse suitable for families with children?

  • Yes, facilities include a large playground (slide, swings, climbing set), playroom, volleyball court, green areas, and a shallow stream (safe for splashing).

Can guests use a kitchen?

  • The Mountain Cottages and Old Mill House have fully equipped kitchens. Guesthouse rooms include a kettle, mini fridge, and access to dishes.

Are group events possible?

  • Yes, upon request we can organize integration events or gatherings in the fireplace lounge or winter terrace.

What should I bring?

  • We recommend swimwear (pool, hot tub), sports shoes, groceries for cottage cooking, and a good mood for relaxation in nature!
